Current World Issues

Egyptians standing up to their government and political leader Mubarak.
Libyans standing up to their government and political leader Gadhdafi.

What was the 'enough is enough' turning point when civilians in these countries turned to public protests to demand a change in government?

  1. The Libyans have been very fair with their goverment, but GOVERMENT the GOVERMENT has not been fair with their citizens. The people that live in the country have to have their rights protected therefor i think that goverments have to do more to protect the rights of citizens

  2. This may npt deal with the turning point with the civilians, but Gadhdafi cut off all connection to the outside world. This morning I read an artical that said refugees from Libya are moving to take refuge in Egypt, but Egypt has a government revolt as well, so the Libyans wouldn't have known.
